FLFM EQUIPPING CENTER
As believers, we follow the creed in 2 Timothy 2:15 which states: “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” The Faith and Life Equipping Center (FLEC) is a Biblical teaching center with dual tracks of training: Theological and Practical Ministry. The Theological courses are mainly from the Evangelical Training Association (ETA) organization which has partnered with our church; and the Practical Ministry courses deal with the use of the Gifts of the Spirit, Christian Counseling, and Leadership Empowerment.
ETA has developed a lay leadership training strategy that effectively fulfills Christ’s Great Commission to go into all the world, “teaching them” to observe all His sayings. These classes at Faith and Life Fellowship Ministries (FLFM) were initiated in the mid 2000’s by Bishop and Lady Taitt to fulfill that mission. We have had many students that have graduated over the years from this program. Students graduate after completing 4 levels of courses: Foundational, Standard, Advanced and Leadership. Every member is encouraged to take a beginning course at the least. FLEC courses are scheduled on Sunday mornings and Tuesday nights. In light of the pandemic, our Foundation classes will be held online starting Tuesday September 15th, 2020. For more info, contact 954.922.5422.
As a church, we were privileged to have the opportunity to take our training program to Ghana as part of our missions’ trip in 2012. Over 150 students graduated from this training, and many students report continuing their Biblical studies after we left Ghana. We are thankful to the Pastors, leaders and teachers who have dedicated their time in making this teaching ministry a success. Thanks to all the students who are enrolled in the classes. With the expansion of courses offered by FLEC, more options are available to any individual who seek a deeper understanding of God, and desire to be trained and equipped in their service. We are trusting God to see a greater army of people equipped to carry out Christ’s Commission through this ministry.
